Where?

8.5 Mile Family Route - The Splash Pad at Washington Park in Neenah

25, 50, 75, 100 mile routes - Jefferson Park Menasha

How Long?  8.5, 25, 50, 75, 100 mile options!       ROUTES

Choose from 5 different routes for every skill level.  Our 8.5 mile route takes you across the The Fox Cities Trestle Trail.  This is a Rails-to-Trail conversion of a causeway/trestle rail bridge, now a recreational trail bridge.  You continue on the new pedestrian path of Loop the Little Lake recreation trail and back to the new Splash pad at Washington Park!  The 25 mile will go east towards High Cliff State Park with a stop at the Sherwood Fire Department before returning to Jefferson Park in Menasha.

If you are looking for more of a challenge then sign up for the 50, 75 or 100 mile route lengths!  All of these routes take you north and east of the largest lake in the state, Lake Winnebago!  You will pass through High Cliff State Park and ride along the Niagra Escarpment.  Enjoy the views from the top before visiting the cities of Stockbridge, Potter and Sherwood where the local fire departments host the rest stops.

Here are the recommended start times for our routes.  This is to ensure ample time to complete the course and hit the rest stops before they close.  You may start earlier but rest stops may not be open yet and SAG Wagon support may not on course yet.

8.5 Mile                            Start by 10:00 a.m.

25 Mile                              Start by 9:00 a.m.

50 Mile                             Start by 8:00 a.m.

75, 100 Mile                  Start by 7:00 a.m.

Why?

Proceeds from this year’s bike tour will benefit Neenah Menasha Firefighter's Local 275’s Charitable Foundation.  Neenah Menasha Firefighter's Local 275’s Charitable Foundation gives back to charitable organizations within the Cities of Neenah and Menasha, which are the two communities our Department serves.

What's Included?

You can expect a well marked route with signs at every turn and rest stops stocked with essential calories to keep your energy up!  Route cue sheets are available and mechanical /SAG personnel will be available before and on your route if you should need assistance.   This year the rest stop food selection will be limited to prepacked food to reduce contact of multiple people using the rest stops.  The provided lunch will also be prepacked sub sandwiches to reduce contact due to COVID 19.  All rest stops are at local fire stations or a fire truck will be on site for you to check out!  The tour is open to the public and all ages and abilities are welcome!  Register by May 16th to receive an event dry wick t-shirt!  This is a rain or shine event.
